honeymoon

an 8-week online writing immersion inspired by the cinematic world of Lana Del Rey, golden hour and nostalgia
write yourself into a honeymoon phase with your own life

There's a version of you who falls in love with everything —

—the way the sun hits the kitchen floor at 6pm, the smell of rain on hot pavement, her own reflection in a window.

And this version of you isn’t lost, you sense her from time to time. What if you allowed her to take a front seat?

Somewhere between who you had to become and who you actually are, the honeymoon faded.

You forgot you could be turned on, smitten and punch drunk in love with your own life. You could write love letters to the bluebirds and the sparkling waves all day long — but you stopped being led by your longing.

Your longing is a smoke signal.

It's your body, still wanting, still reaching, still refusing to give up on the idea that life can feel like this again — slow, sun-soaked, aching and alive.

This is an 8-week return to that ache. Not to fix it. Not to rush past it. To finally let yourself feel it on the page — and find out what's underneath it.

We're going back to the beginning. Back to the part of the love story where everything felt possible.

Back to you.

    • Break the week of August 16th, return the 22nd

  • all classes are on Zoom (replays available)

How it works:

Over 8 weeks, you won't just write more. You'll:

  • come back into your body as the source of every poem

  • access longing, desire, and devotion without apologizing for any of it

  • write the kind of somatic poetry that comes from tissue and marrow, not your overthinking mind

  • fall back in love with the parts of yourself you've been keeping at arm's length

  • build a devoted creative practice that doesn't depend on inspiration showing up first

  • be witnessed inside an intimate, golden-hour community of women doing the same

  • leave with a body of work — material that could become a book, a project, a body of poems that are unmistakably yours

I'm building a world for you to step into —

— cinematic, sun-drenched, a little melancholic in the way only late summer can be. The long-lost lover. The ache that feels like an aphrodisiac set against crashing waves and melting ice cream cones. The permission to want, loudly, on the page.

I’ll guide you…through stories, themes and writing prompts that open doors you didn’t know were there.

You’ll find that writing stops being something you keep “trying to get to” and starts becoming something your body actually craves.

I can’t wait to see who you become when you give yourself this kind of space.

“I'm glad I'm here with like-hearted women who know IFS, who know mom grief, who are willing to share their hearts and souls in a space of collective femininity. That's poetic. That is poetry. Anything meaningful is poetic. Poetry is here in this room, connecting everyone and their lost loved ones. Our ancestors join hands and smile as we look for similies. It matters.”
— part of a poem written during a salon by Becky Lang

“Dana is amazing! She created a safe place. She encouraged us to be open and honest. The workshop was very inspirational and motivational. It gave me the confidence to continue writing and explore my creativity!”

  • Working with Dana 1:1 helped me move through some of my darkest emotional seasons with more compassion and clarity.

Her presence is grounding, and her guidance helped me remember that joy can exist even in the midst of pain. Every session left me more connected to myself and more empowered to face my life with love and strength.”

    - Former client from Seattle, WA

  • Dana leads heart-first and encourages others to do the same.

She reminds you to believe in yourself, that your voice matters, that YOU matter. Beautiful transformations occur when you come home to yourself and Dana has been instrumental in helping me find my way back home, to show up authentically, to be vulnerable, and to allow others to see me...the real me, broken pieces and all.

    -Crystal from Illinois

  • “I’m becoming the version of myself I always hoped to be.

Dana’s 1:1 coaching awakened a creative fire in me that I didn’t know I had. Her way of seeing and reflecting life made creativity feel not just possible, but essential. I show up for myself in a completely different way now—more trusting, more open, and more capable of turning even my struggles into meaningful, inspired expression.”

    - Former Client from Olympia, WA

  • The songwriting workshop was so expansive.

It felt like such a safe space to reignite my creativity. I was personally so blown away by the meditations and left feeling very inspired. I highly, highly recommend Dana, she was absolutely fantastic I’ll definitely be joining another class in the future.

    - Stephanie Z., Chicago

  • I had such a good time at the songwriting workshop!

I was nervous to be in such an intimate space but Dana was so wonderful. She guided us through a meditation first which personally helped me feel so comfortable! I loved meeting everyone and hearing the poems/songs they created. I will definitely be joining more workshops led by Dana!

    -Jen Z., Chicago
